Why Are power cut-off brake levers used

The main purpose of power cut-off brakes is safety. These brakes add to the safety of your ride. The brake levers in the Ebikeling kits are equipped with sensors that cut off power. Let's now see how these brake levers work. When you pull the brake lever it sends an electronic signal to the controller that turns off the motor. Do you need brake cutoffs at all? Depending on where you ride your bike. In the event that you are undertaking the riding in traffic congestion or within the biking lanes, then you may rile very slowly. It will also safeguard you in an emergency brake because the sensors turn off the power to the throttle apart from your finger. Sensors override the throttle as there's no reason to run the motor when braking. To activate the brake shut off, you need to apply the brakes slightly. You need to press the brake pedal almost halfway to activate the sensor and signal the controller.

The brake sensor activates and transmits a message to the controller, which will cut the motor's power.

We will briefly discuss the pros and cons of both types. The pros and cons of each type will be briefly discussed.

Brake Levers with power-cut-off sensors built into it.

The electrical sensor is already built into the brake lever. This option is available if your shifters are not integrated. You will need a separate gear shifter if you replace your brake levers with an integrated shifter. This brake lever is easy to install as it plugs into the bike. Our ebike accessoriesonly offer this brake option.

Sensors that cut power off can be fitted to the brake levers.

You can install brake sensors to the existing brake lever if you already have hydraulic brakes or an integrated shifter. Magnet sensors are included in the brake sensor. The sensor is attached to the brake base and the magnet to the brake lever. The magnet will separate from the sensor as soon as the lever is pulled. The installation of brake sensors is a little more complicated than the first method. The motor will start if you place the sensor close to the magnet. However, when you use the brakes, the magnet moves away from the sensors and cuts power. It provides an extra layer of safety by ensuring that the motor is not powered on accidentally when you are braking.
